I’m a Hurricanes fan Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres crazy Buffalo lady shirt , and this is a very good insight into what went on for the Whalers during their run in the NHL. I think that I am mostly alone on this, but as a Canes fan, I have always respected and appreciated our franchise history as far back as ’72. Technically this record belongs to four teams from the 1967 expansion, but only because all the expansion teams that year were in their own division; four of them were guaranteed to make it and one was guaranteed to make the finals. The Blues made it to the finals that first year, a feat matched by VGK.
